What a trip!  This was the first in a series of three trips for those selected in North Devon a month earlier.  The weather was fantastic (although the waves were small), the people, the food, the accommodation and location were all outstanding.  The schedule was hectic, with loads of cultural and coastal activities.  One of the highlights was meeting the Pole Espoir (Brittany’s top young surfers) and seeing them rip on tiny waves.  Other highlights included visiting a local shaper, surfing at 1030pm, a crepe-fest, surfing at the magical Baie des Trepasses and paddling round the point of La Torche.  We’ll be back.
